About This Venue
The Merchant’s Arch is situated right beside the famous Ha’penny Bridge on Dublin’s south side. Established in 2010, the Merchants Arch has been in existence since 1821. Housed in a listed building that was once a Merchant Guild Hall, this is one of only two 19th Century Guild Halls still standing in Dublin. Ideally located in Dublin’s Temple Bar, the Merchants Arch makes an ideal choice for a bite to eat, a few pints, the big match or your next event or night out.
We serve food 7 days a week with a mixture of live traditional Irish Music, contemporary and classic hits sure to keep you entertained. We also show all live sporting events on our 7 HD big screens!

We have a beautiful function room on the 2nd floor that can comfortably entertain 150 people dinning, with an amazing view over Ha’penny Bridge and the River Liffey. Decorated in a very upbeat Irish Pub style our restaurant will be sure to leave everybody present relaxed and cheerful, be it a business dinner, birthday party, product launch or a Christmas party.
