McGowans of Phibsboro, Dublin 7 is a family run venue and has been in the family for over 60 years. It has had a number of makeovers in that time and is still as famous as ever for its friendly, fun party atmosphere, top notch food & drinks as well showing all major sporting events on our large screens.

Birthday Parties, Special Occasions & Hen/Stag Parties

McGowans is spread over two floors with plenty of areas to reserve free of charge. We're a late bar and ideal for lots of parties, events and special occasions such as 30th/40th/50th birthday parties, engagement parties, wedding day-after parties, hens/stags, retirements and more.

 

We take group bookings & reservations for 10 - 250 guests in a number of areas such as the cocktail lounge, main bar, beer garden and our rock & roll area. We also have a function room / nightclub upstairs that be exclusively hired depending on guest numbers. Catering for your event of course can arranged, contact our team below to get planning and we'll help every step of the way.

Please note McGowans do not host 21sts, christenings, communions, confirmations or baby showers.

 

Charity Nights, Corporate Events, Summer BBQs & After Work Drinks

Our function room upstairs is very popular for charity nights, table quizzes and private corporate events such as product launches and Christmas parties for 50 - 250 guests. This space can be tailored to your requirements in regards to seating, decoration, AV setup and catering options. Alternatively we can reserve areas on the ground floor with multiple options available, contact our team below and we can advise and plan for you.
