Orlagh House in Rathfarnham, South Dublin is a stunning Georgian mansion originally built in 1790 and lovingly restored in 2017, offering uninterrupted views from the foothills of the Dublin Mountains of Dublin City Centre, Howth Head and the Irish Sea.


This truly unique venue is set over 45 acres with woodland, rivers, walks all around the venue and most importantly privacy, peace and quiet. With 14 bedrooms and numerous event spaces, it is available for exclusive private hire for wide range events.

Exclusive Private Events & Parties

Orlagh House is the perfect setting for exclusive high-end private events such as corporate events, yoga retreat weekends, private dining, mini-festivals, company away days, birthday parties, summer BBQs, Christmas parties and everything in between for up to 250 guests.


Orlagh House has a number of function rooms available including the Oratory. This huge function room offers open plan space and comes with its own organ, beautiful old timber floor and floor to ceiling windows with far reaching views. Perfect for private events and parties for up 120 guests seated (trestle tables) / 82 (round tables).


Private Dining

Fancy celebrating a special occasion in our Georgian dining room? We offer a unique private dining experience for groups of up to 20 guests. The dining room is attached to a number of luxury suites where your guests can relax with a drink or entertainment before and after.


Full Use of The House
All bookings can make use of the commercial kitchen and everything else the house has to offer for the duration of the event. There's a games room in the basement with a full sized snooker table, pool & table tennis table and we can also recommend catering companies for your event if required, as well as stocking the upstairs bar for the duration of your stay. Finally there's 14 bedrooms should you wish to hire the venue overnight, enough to accommodate 25 guests.
