Bewley's Grafton Street

Bewley’s on Grafton offer an array of unique spaces to cater to for corporate events, private dining, sophisticated intimate celebrations and more. Their in-house events team, bakers, chefs, patissiers, and sommeliers are on all hand to help design the event of your dreams.

First Floor

Often not seen by the general public, the entire first floor (and spaces listed below) of the building is available for exclusive private hire for large-scale events, suitable for up to 250 guests standing or 150 guests sitting.

James Joyce Room

The James Joyce Room is the stand-out space on the first floor. This space is comprised of gorgeous artwork from the likes of Harry Clarke’s stained glass window as well as original 19th-century Japanese-themed wallpaper. The room features an iconic balcony overlooking the bustling Grafton Street below, the perfect perching post for people-watching. Suitable for 60 guests standing or 40 guests seated, this space is perfect for dining events, presentations, drinks receptions and parties.

Garden Atrium

The Garden Atrium space is located in the centre of the first floor, featuring incredible sculptures and a light filled flowing flower display which runs from the top of the building to the cafe below. This space is ideal for drinks receptions or presentations for 60 guests standing or 40 guests sitting.

Café Academy

The Cafe Academy is the first space you encounter upon entering through the private first floor entrance. A truly memorable space with a very unique feature — a stained glass window by Pauline Bewick, this is an intimate space with a personal touch, suitable for 100 guests standing or 80 guests sitting. Best for meetings, training sessions, event registration and presentations.

Whyte’s Academy

Whyte's Academy is a semi-private space which used to be an old school wherein famous Irish writers studied, making it intriguing with historical significance. This classically beautiful space overlooks the Garden Atrium and is suited for up to 30 guests standing and 20 guests seated for private dining, small team get togethers and/or used as additional space for large events.
