Tigh Nora on 8 Cross Street Lower is in the heart of Galway City's Latin Quarter. Named after Galway girl Nora Barnacle, the wife and inspiration of James Joyce, our unique bar is a haven for those who love G&T with over 200 hundred of Irish & international gins to choose from.

Tigh Nora is an intimate venue right next-door to popular late night spot; The Front Door Pub. Inside you’ll find shelves brimming with quirky gin bottles, rich decor, comfy seating and open fires, with the bar as the focal point.

 

We take group bookings and can reserve areas for 4 - 30 guests for a wide range of events and parties. Our knowledgeable bar staff are on hand to offer expert pairing advice for a truly enjoyable experience and Tigh Nora's is particularly popular for birthdays (30ths and up), engagement parties, hen parties, corporate and work nights out.
