Buskers Bar, part of the Temple Bar Hotel is one of Dublin’s best known and liveliest bars. This year they’re running their Christmas Lunches menu right through December from €25 pp with a 4 course Christmas dinner option available at €42 pp in Toast restaurant (part of Temple Bar Hotel). Alternatively if you want a more casual affair they offer private hire (50 people) or area reservations in the bar with sharing platters options starting from €14pp. Lots of dancing and live music to be expected, 7 nights a week!
The Odeon Bar

McGowans

McGowans in Phibsboro, Dublin 7 definitely know how to throw a bash, so if you’re looking for somewhere extra lively this year they’re a great choice of venue for Christmas parties, just a few minutes from the city. The venue will be draped in festive decorations and have 2 DJ’s til late every Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday in November & December. They’re doing two packages, the first is a sit-down meal with set menu to include reserved seating for your group, 2 courses and a drink for only €29.95pp. The second package is a finger food option for groups of all sizes with a reserved area, some seating with admission to the nightclub upstairs from only €8.50pp. Upgrades available on the finger food options and a bar tab / tokens also possible with all bookings. January parties also being taken for now, perfect for those in the hospitality and retail sectors.
Dakota

Dakota on South William Street, Dublin 2 is a great choice of Christmas party venue for both sit-down lunches & dinners, or semi-private late night drinks, partying and bites. Centrally located it’s always popular during the festive period and will have a resident DJ from 9pm each night to get the party started every Thursday, Friday & Saturday. There is limited availability left for the lunches and dinners (for large groups) on the Fridays & Saturdays in December so please enquire soon. The Morgan Hotel

Dining options include; a 3 course lunch (Monday – Friday) for €29.95pp (min. 6, max 30 guests) or a 3 course dinner (Sun – Wednesday) for €39.95pp (min. 6, max. 30 guests). Outside of these times or if you’re just looking to party late in to the night with some bites they offer reserved areas in the venue with deluxe gourmet finger food from €14.95pp (Sun – Wed) or €18.95pp (Thurs, Fri & Sat) with the option to add a prosecco reception for an additional €5pp (min. 10 guests required for these bookings).
