As one of our nation’s most impressive museums detailing the history of emigration throughout Irish history, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is a wonderful feature this Culture Night. The museum is family friendly with interactive exhibits from video galleries to motion sensor quizzes, and dance challenges, bringing Irish history to life in the most engaging way for all ages. No booking is required on the night with availability from 18:00 – 21:00.

The State Apartments at Dublin Castle

Location: Dame Street, Dublin 2

 

Get exclusive access to some of the most regal buildings in the city with entry to the State Apartments at Dublin Castle on Culture Night in Dublin this September. The State Apartments were built as the residential and public quarters of the viceregal court. They were the seat of the executive and played host to fashionable and extravagant social events. The Apartments play host to Ireland’s Presidencies of the European Union, presidential inaugurations and other prestigious functions. Doors will open from 18:00 and the last entry will be admitted at 21:30. Bookings are not required and will operate on a first come, first serve basis with an outdoor queue in operation.

Jameson Distillery Tour & Tasting

Location: Bow St, Smithfield, Dublin 7

 

Enjoy a little cheeky tipple or two this Culture Night at the Jameson Distillery for their tour and tasting. This immersive experience is fully guided, taking you through 45 minutes worth of exploring the Distillery and topping things off with tasting the world renowned whiskey. Meditation Workshop

Your podcast will be professionally edited and sent to you that evening to share with others. Visitors can also tour the studios, explore an exhibition on Irish podcasting, and chat with local creators. A fun, hands-on experience for people of all ages and backgrounds! Bike Disco

Location:Phoenix Monument, Phoenix Park, Dublin 8

 

The Bike Disco is something totally unique, perfect for families and fitness fiends alike. The 5-km care-free ride around Phoenix Park will be accompanied by a bike DJ blaring the best tunes to bike to. The event will kick off at Phoenix Monument on Chesterfield Avenue at 8 pm. Attendees are advised that roads will be closed from 7pm. Lighting up your bike with fun fixtures is highly recommended! Booking required to reserve your spot.

Dublin Ink Tattoo Culture Experience

Location: South Great George’s Street, Dublin 2

 

Dublin Ink is welcoming newcomers this Culture Night to try their hand at the art of tattooing! Attendees will become a tattoo artist for the evening, learning and practising the tricks of the trade on a banana. Yep, you read that right. This is an event for everyone, including families and kids who can receive their very own tattoo (temporary, of course). With seven new venues, the trail spans the City Centre and beyond, showcasing electronic music, DJ culture, and vibrant late-night spaces. Venues include Index, Tengu, Pygmalion, Hen’s Teeth, Fidelity, Love Tempo, and WigWam. Booking is essential. Strictly 18+.
