The annual classic Winter event, Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo is back for 2023 with an absolutely incredible theme — The Enchanted Zoo. Think mystical gnomes, fairies, mythical creatures, and some Winter magic as you explore the Zoo during the night. Grab a hot chocolate and a festive treat while marvelling at the beautiful silk lanterns and installations. Running from the 16th of November to January 2024, tickets are selling fast. Adults tickets are €24.50 and children are €20.

Location: Dún Laoghaire Harbour & Blanchardstown
Dates: 10th November 2023 – 28th January 2024
Take a trip to the seaside to visit Ireland’s newest and largest ice rink in Dún Laoghaire harbour. Featuring both a practice rink and a main rink, there’s space for every level here making it perfect for families, friends, or even a corporate night out. Visit the world’s largest Andy Warhol exhibition at the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin 1 running throughout November until January 28th 2024. Explore over 250 of the artist’s iconic pieces including Marilyn Monroe and the Campbell’s Soup Cans. Tickets are available now from €15pp.

Explore the set of one of the most iconic TV Shows of all time with the FRIENDS Experience at the Theatre of Light in Dublin 1. Immerse yourself in the world of your favourite onscreen characters with the immersive exhibit, including Central Perk coffee shop (complete with the couch!) as well as Monica and Rachel, Chandler and Joey’s apartments! Experience a night of music from your favourite festive film, Love Actually. The fabulous night of music will feature a full orchestra, taking the beloved soundtrack from the screen and bringing it to life before your very eyes. Immerse yourself in a festive market surrounded by nature with the Shackleton Gardens Christmas Market in Clonsilla on the 25th and 26th of November. Roam through the vintage clothes and the trinkets, and indulge in some tasty food and drink. Entry is completely free.

Celebrate Día de Muertos, Mexico’s Day of the Dead, at The Well on St Stephen’s Green on the 2nd of November. Dress up and soak in the atmosphere, filled with tons of live music and DJs including La María Live Latin Band, DJ Mario Romo, as well as one man band Johnny Charro. There’s even €100 up for grabs for the best Catrina costume!

Dublin by Night Festival invites you to explore the city when the sun goes down on both the Northside and Southside of Dublin. Explore the night market, cooking demonstrations, street animation, large outdoor movie screenings, music, arts and culture, and food on Drury Street through to South William Street (Thursday 2nd Nov), as well as on Capel Street to Lower Mary Street (Friday 3rd Nov) from 6pm – 10pm. The Festival celebrating the city takes place on Friday the 3rd of November after 5pm and is completely free to attend.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of The Beatles sole performance in Dublin, fans have put together The Beatles Festival, featuring music that marks the occasion. The event will take place at Workman’s Club and feature musical tributes to the mega-famous band, as well as quizzes and even a stage play. Tickets are on sale for €17.50.
