Recently awarded the best seafood restaurant in Europe at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards in St Petersburg, Russia, SOLE offers the highest levels of customer service and most exquisite food and drink Dublin has to offer. The Captain’s Table dining room is the epitome of high-end group private dining and corporate experiences and is available for exclusive hire for 12 – 18 guests. This luxurious private dining space comes complete with long-table style layout, its own private bar, dedicated bartender and is guaranteed to excite the senses. The whole restaurant can also be exclusively hired for up to 200 guests for larger events.
Ely Bar & Grill in the CHQ Building on Dublin’s Docklands is one of two Ely restaurants in Dublin. Both are extremely highly regarded and well renowned throughout the dining scene for their expansive wine selection, elegant surroundings and exquisite food. Ely Bar & Grill is set within beautifully restored wine vaults. The original 1821 cellars, with 2 fully licensed bars and a heated waterside terrace, have been transformed to become the architecturally stunning venue it is today. Ely’s private dining room is suitable for up to 10 guests. With a glass walled partition and door this space offers an exclusive, yet intimate setting surrounded by a walled wine display and sumptuous mood lighting. Perfect for family occasions, corporate meetings and plenty more. The venue is split into separate vaults so they can also offer private dining for up to 100 guests for larger events in other areas of the venue if required.
The Westin Hotel on Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2 offers an expansive array of options when it comes to private dining. They have a spectacular banking hall, one of the biggest spaces in Dublin which can accommodate approx. 200 guests for a sit down meal as well as having a number of suites, their on site restaurant Morelands Grill and the Atrium bar to name but a few. The Westing have an exclusive private dining room known as the Teller Suite (pictured below). This intimate space is suitable for up to 6 – 8 guests and is set in luxurious surroundings. The Blue Room at the Dean Hotel looks out over Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 and is a purpose built private dining and entertaining space. Oozing class and sophistication this light filled room is suited to dining parties of all sizes from small (10 guests) to up to 65 guests seated for larger events. The room can be partitioned, includes its own bar, can be set up in a number of layouts and the in-house team work with a wide range of suppliers so your every need in regards to menus & dining options, music, drinks and entertainment can be catered to. Very popular for wedding receptions, engagement parties, corporate dining and family occasions.
FIRE on Dawson Street, Dublin 2 has one of Dublin’s most spectacular and largest dining rooms in the main restaurant, but equally impressive is its private dining suites, known as the ‘glassroom suites’. These private dining rooms feature floor to ceiling glass windows and the space can be divided into three separate dining rooms for intimate events or left open for larger events. Looking out over the Lord Mayor’s garden at the Mansion House these suites have direct access to FIRE’s sun terrace, perfect for entertaining before and after dinner. The smaller dining rooms are at either end of the building (pictured below), and are suited for up to 16 guests in each or up to 60 guests total (seated) if the doors are left open and the space is used as a whole.
Cleaver East is a unique and atmospheric restaurant on Essex Street East in Temple Bar, Dublin 2. The ground floor restaurant is centred around a beautiful bar, serving up the best in Irish & European cuisine with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and high quality food and is available for exclusive hire for up to 120 guests. On the upper levels of the building are the Cleaver East Suites. Roberta’s on Essex Street East in Temple Bar, Dublin 2 is one of the city’s most popular eateries and late bars. Serving up a mix of succulent meats, fresh fish, pastas & wood fired pizzas, they have a number of options for private dining including this stylish room pictured below where you every need can be catered to in complete privacy. Suitable for up to 14 guests, featuring a lengthy marble table with electric pink seating and stunning views out over the River Liffey, helping to create the perfect ambience and atmosphere for an evening of conversation and dining. For larger groups there is another private dining room available suitable for up to 30 guests. Relax with a drink in the stunning Atrium Bar or courtyard before and after dinner. Located just off Dame Street and near Temple Bar, Dublin 2, Crow Street is a restaurant on the ground floor with cocktail bar and function room upstairs. This New York style eatery has a fantastic private dining room to the rear of the venue for exclusive dining events. This private space can be set up to you liking in a number of layouts and as such is suitable for up to approx 20 – 26 guests. If your party is larger than this the whole restaurant can be private hired exclusively or the function room space above may also be options for you to consider.
Located in Rathfarnham, South Dublin and perched on the foothills of the Dublin mountains, Orlagh House offers fantastic views out over the city, Dublin Bay & Howth. This truly spectacular sprawling Georgina mansion features a unique private dining room, suitable for up to 20 guests. Entertain guests in one of the stunning parlour rooms or on finer days on the grounds outside before and after dinner. Entertainment can be arranged from harpists to live music if required. The venue also has the added bonus of 14 bedrooms should your guests wish to stay the night. Bon Appetit is located in the bustling neighbourhood of Malahide on the northside of Dublin and has a sumptuously elegant private dining room, exclusively used only for special occasions and events. This tastefully decorated dining space is filled with plenty of natural daylight and features a large chandelier with beautifully corniced ceilings for that authentic luxurious feel. Bon Appetit are masters in creative cooking with fantastic service at great value. The menus are regularly updated with a focus on using fresh local produce, as well as incorporating new and exciting ingredients from around the world. The Grayson, centrally located on St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, is spread over a three floors with a stunning outdoor atrium and a mix of dining spaces and bars, making it a great choice of venue to dine, drink, dance or relax. This elegant, multifaceted venue has plenty of rooms to choose from for private dining events. There’s two intimate private dining rooms, perfect for small family get togethers for up to 6 guests in each. For larger groups and events The Grayson has a number of other private dining rooms one of which is pictured below, suited for up to ~20 guests but can comfortably accommodate up to 40 guests seated on each floor.
