We’ve included a mix of late night party type venues as well as venues to dine this NYE. We’ll be adding more events here as they are announced. Some venues are offering no cover charge and others have early bird tickets available. NYE is usually one of if not the busiest nights in Dublin City Centre, arrive early to avoid disappointment and if possible purchase a ticket or book in advance to guarantee entry on the night.
DTwo’s NYE masquerade party starts at 8.30pm, with complementary glass of bubbly and mask upon arrival. They’ll have 2 DJ’s playing over 2 floors with 5 Bars. Ring in New Year’s Eve at the ever glamorous and sophisticated setting of The Odeon on Harcourt Street, Dublin 2, who are also running a masquerade ball. Doors open from 7pm, entry is priced at just €10 which includes a glass of bubbly on arrival as well as your masquerade mask and Odeon’s resident DJ will be playing the best in chart & classic dance til late into the night. Swing into the new year and enjoy stunning views of the city’s fireworks at Sophie’s in The Dean on Harcourt Street, Dublin 2. Three floors of good music, good drinks and good vibes. Dakota on South William Street, Dublin 2 are running the biggest party night of the year with the ultimate NYE extravaganza. Doors open from 7pm with, DJ, late bar & midnight balloon drop. On the turn of the millennium a computer error was due to wipe out all humanity as we know it… 20 years on we’re still here. To celebrate Everleigh are throwing the ultimate ‘end of the world’ Y2K party. With a DJ playing all your noughties favourites til late, drink deals, confetti cannons and more it promises to be lively and loud! Lemon & Duke, just off Grafton Steet in Dublin 2 are hosting a NYE party from 9pm. Tickets are €15 which includes a glass of prosecco upon arrival. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the bar, at Eventbrite.ie here or on the door on the night. If you fancy some dining beforehand they have a three-course meal with glass of prosecco for €40pp from 6pm and a later sitting from 8pm with a glass of champagne for €60pp (the later sitting includes admission to the after party). Zozimus on Anne’s Lane, Dublin 2 host their ‘Black & Gold’ party this year to help you ring in 2020. It’ll be stylish, loud, lively and serving up some of the best cocktails in town. Entry is FREE, walk-ins are welcome on the night but if you want to book a table (limited availability remaining but highly advised) you can do so via Zozimus’ VenueSearch listing.
The Black Door on Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 are kicking off the night at 8pm, with a cocktail upon arrival, live music, gourmet finger food from 8pm – 10pm and live entertainment afterwards until very late! McGowans in Phibsboro are throwing the ultimate NYE masquerade party spread over all three floors with late bar and DJ on the night. If you fancy a bit of fine dining to ring in the new year, 10 Fleet Street Bar & Restaurant at The Morgan Hotel in Temple Bar is close to all the NYE festival happenings in the city. The atmosphere will be electric on the night with their chef whipping up a delicious 7 course tasting menu which includes a glass of prosecco priced at €65pp. There’ll be live music on the night from ‘The Address’ from 10pm-12pm, followed by a DJ until 2am. Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the stunning surroundings of The Grayson. Enjoy a 3 course seasonal dinner menu and ring in the New Year under the stars with DJ & dancing in their Atrium & Winter Terrace. For a sophisticated sit-down style New Year’s Eve with a three course dinner and entertainment then look no further than FIRE Restaurant on Dawson Street, Dublin 2. The 3 course sitting is from 8pm and includes of prosecco at midnight for €75pp, with exclusive access to stay on and experience live entertainment afterwards until late. On the doorstep of Trinity College, in College Green, the Westin Dublin is the ideal location to spend your last moments of 2019. If you fancy something a little bit more casual and some live music this NYE, the ground floor bar at Foley’s just off St Stephen’s Green will have live entertainment from 8pm and a DJ afterwards with free bubbly at midnight to help you ring in the new year ’til late and is sure to be a lively one. Reserve an area or arrive early on the night to get a good spot.
The New Year’s Festival Dublin (NYF Dublin) is an exciting programme of events to ring in 2020. There are 3 spectacular events happening on the 31 December 2019. At 6pm-7pm is the family friendly Liffey Lights Midnight Moment Matinée on Custom House Quay & Georges Quay. Tickets are FREE for this but must be registered for in advance. See here for more information. At 8pm is the New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert on Custom House Quay with performances by Walking on Cars, Ash, Aimee and Lisa McHugh. This dazzling lighting spectacle will be performed against the backdrop of the Custom House and features a thrilling choreography of lasers and aqua beams lighting up the night sky.
